I want Kurosawa for my birthday
Criterion has just released a new box set celebrating 25 of Akira Kurosawa's films. 3 of his films-Rashomon, Yojimbo, and Red Throne-are high on my list of all-time favorites. Not only has he influenced me but has influenced many directors, if not all of them.
Check it out. Too bad the typical Criterion price tag will keep me from getting it.

The full year gap is due to the redesign. I held off all posts until I could complete the new design, which took me about a year. Yes, pathetic I know, but school came first. I plan to work on more exciting posts, however I don’t have as many followers as you do. My mom is pretty much my only reader.
